Description:

This highly customized 92,000sq.ft retail space is located in the former Crystal Palace Amusement complex. The partial demolition of the complex and removal of the park equipment also formed part of the project. This fast track project (9 months) was completed on time and on budget. This space included an addition to the building, a new exterior façade, and complete interior renovations. This building includes a retail space, a warehouse with 3 loading docks, a 12,000gal freshwater aquarium, an archery range, offices, and a 4 bay boat service area. This project was custom-designed to reflect local scenery and utilizing local products as the construction was underway in order to maintain the schedule. Mural and various exhibits were being created around the construction activities to maintain the schedule. Customized finishes such as full-size boat display completed with waves, bark shingles, fiberglass log cladding, polished concrete, sprayed concrete aquarium, mountain, and trees, as well as specialized paint finishes, were all part of this impressive retail space.
