Description:

This restaurant renovation is located in the heart of downtown Dieppe. The renovation included the commercial kitchen, washrooms, food service area, dining room and a play place. Site improvements, including resetting patio pavers and a new concrete drive through were completed. Additional scope consisted of a new roof. To minimize lost revenue, the project was executed in two phases. In the first phase, the dining room area was demolished, and renovations of that area were started while the drive through remained open. The drive through and kitchen were closed simultaneously for only three weeks. The entire project was delivered in six weeks.

A complete and transparent cooperation between the operator, Acadian Construction, the trades and the owner supplied equipment representatives was the key to a successful project delivery, right on schedule. With a tight 6 week-timeframe, inventory, material ordering and manpower were carefully scheduled to maintain the project’s critical path. The team quickly addressed any deficiencies and challenges and communicated solutions to the operator, avoiding any delays in the process.

The public’s safety remained our priority while operating partly for a determined period of time.
