Description:

Waldale Manufacturing is a License Plate manufacturer located in Amherst, Nova- Scotia. The 20,000sf expansion was for new warehousing capabilities, tool and maintenance shop and offices. Special consideration had to be taken during the design stages where the expansion met to the existing pre-engineered building since it was requested to have higher ceilings. Therefore, a combination of roof and structural design were utilised to minimise the additional of new snow loads on the existing building. The new additions now allows Waldale to house more raw product which was previously located at other nearby locations, meanwhile the maintenance shop allows them to assemble and test new components for continuous improvements to their production line.
